Arlington Lodge #346 meets the First & Third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Lodge Hall on High School Drive. Dixon Area Community Development Committee meets the First Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4238 meets the First Friday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Post Hall on the corner of Highway 28 and Chestnut St. Dixon Ambulance District Board meets on the Second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Ambulance Building on Elm Street. American Legion Post 298 meets the Second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Post Home at the corner of Ellen and 6th Streets. Dixon Firefighters meet every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Fire House in Lions Club park. The VFW Post 4238 Ladies Auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. on the Second Friday of each month at the VFW Post Home at Highway 28 & Chestnut. The Dixon R-1 School Board meets on the Third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Administration Building on 4th Street. The Gascosage Electric Cooperative Board meets the Third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cooperative Headquarters on Highway 28. The Senior Citizen Center Site Council Meeting is held on the Third Wednesday of each month 8:30 a.m. at the Senior Citizen Center on 3rd Street. Dixon Chamber of Commerce meets the Third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the State Bank of Dixon. The Dixon Library Board meets the Third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Jesse E. McCully Library in Lions Club Park. The Optimist Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at Linda’s Family Restaurant on Second Street. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 633 meets the Last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at 107 Historic Route 66 in Waynesville.
